you would not believe your eyes if ten million fireflies lit up the world as I fell asleep.
Holidays are seriously awesome compared to secthree life.
And I thought sectwo was HARD!
Anyway, on to stuff I really wanna say.
SECTION ZERO IS SOMETHING IN MY LIFE I REALLY DONT EVER WANNA DELETE.
Today I thought about it, after so many fun stuff(get to that later!), I can't imagine myself NOT being in section zero. Especially now, when we're stepping down. Life just changed a lot. It's hard to break the routine that I've had for at least half a year. Reach school, take stuff, say hi, go G.O. Old habits die hard. Honestly, you'd think it's troublesome- constantly being watched by vice principals, Mr Chua and what not. Even the school. You're gonna have to pin up hair for flagraising, can't screw up flagraising either. But section zero brought me a lot of stuff I really cannot live without.
#1. It taught me to bond with people outside my own section.
If I wasn't in section zero, I realise that me and Winnie can't have gotten this close. We probably wouldn't sit next to each other, or talk or be high together. We won't sing songs in class anymore, we won't hug people randomly. Me and Kelly also! Not to mention Cherylmine and her bimbo moments. Zhen An and I won't go down to G.O or back to class together(and probably not talk!) I wouldn't love Ruijie's infectious laughter, nor get whacked in the face by Jiawei(I DO NOT APPRECIATE THAT A LOT THOUGH!!) I wouldn't get to poke Keith as often! I wouldn't have awesome S.Ls like Rachel or Debi, or talk to juniors like Siyu and laugh at her mad comparisons. I wouldn't know who Darren, Zhi Qi etc are! The G.O has become this place where some people from every section gather together. We talk about what happens in individual section and we cluster together. It's mad fun to talk, and seriously, fifteen minutes of talking is not enough!
#2. It taught me how to be confident.
Every one has this aspect that they all can do. Like, Winnie loves doing flag and pledge. Kelly and Ruijie and Zhen An are awesome at P.A. Keith learnt how to overcome his nervousness and love doing pledge. Jiawei does the chinese pledge. Cherylmine did flag her own meticulous way. I learnt to do the pledge, take pride in doing so and have people encourage me to speak. It makes me so happy to know that I have this part, where people call a forte? Yeap, without section zero, I definitely can't be quite so confident.
#3. It taught me to interact.
This is like a reiteration of first point, but this is where I thought real hard of. Without section zero, I might have kept to my own section this whole time in council board, instead of going out of my section to talk to other people.
I can't believe we're stepping down now. I've known all along section zero was fun, but it's only after we're stepping down, then I realise how much I cherish these mornings together. I honestly love section zero, and after so many mornings together, we've really bonded. Thank goodness for the remaining wednesdays when sectwos will have PE! Let's hope they keep having PE then! I don't wanna miss out these fantabulous mornings that remind me of our past half year. I regret the fact that we've only got six months. If only we had a year.
SECTION ZERO FTW.
I'm filled with regret after writing that. So nostalgic.
Anyway, we had some section zero secthrees gathering at rachel's house! Only Jiawei never go. At first I was thinking, someone's house?! Fun meh?! But really, it was fantastic.
Winnie and I met up before going together but we didn't know timing. SORRY I WENT LATE TIFF:(
Ate burger king, somehow Cherylmine noticed my watch that was "striking" (bright green!) Walked at random places, calling Rachel over and over again. Went to pet safari and whoo met a chocolate brown toy poodle that was super the cute. Called Cadbury somemore!*HUGS* I seriously want a toy poodle now(: Btw, toy poodle is a dog breed and not a toy for playing haha! Cherylmine was scared of loose dogs, but I was scared of the living, twitching rabbits in glass cases!! ARGH!!! *scary scary*
Finally Rachel called us back and we found a hidden arcade! Rachel came over and we played arcade(YAY!) Tons of bball, hehe! Met up with other peeps and ate some starbucks. HAPPY DAY, I GOT MY CARAMEL FRAPPE! Heart to heart talks, and boom we went to Rachel's house. Played with her DSLRs, took random pics, flirted with Cherylmine(SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE;50WAYS TO FLIRT,LOL!) ate toasted drumlets, videoed KEITH playing Wii Boxing! Some lame game of monopoly, random hanging out. Played guitar(: It's hard to play!! Also went swimming, had truth or dare(I think the guys seriously regretted playing!HAHA) Bathed and went home! Rachel is such a fantabulous SL, she cooked for us!:D
Today's match; LOST. Against East Spring. Haix, I played the slackest position, GS and only for one quarter. I was totally able to play a position like Center after that quarter can. I let the penalty shots to Beckie, and those two got in(: Think I didn't play very well, I should run more, instead of thinking that GS is slacker and should not run as much. T.T Hope that I can play more on Monday yeah!(and I should totally talk more during netball)
After the match, me, Joey, Jiehui, Steph and Beckie went TM eat Macs. Dumb me, missed mcvalue lunch by like, 2 min! Paid a lot more for twister fries, rawr! Prank called tons of peeps(and the people I chose didn't pick up phone D: ) I ended up having Yunbin, Teck Hwee and Kianchong smsing me about it. HAIX! Camwhored at the playground hahas. HOME! Nearly fell asleep on the bus(and nearly missing my stop:O)
I'm gonna go visualise how to play on Monday. Tata peeps!:D
